Biography
Hassan Hariri is currently a senior lecturer at ECAM LaSalle, Lyon, France. Prior of joining ECAM in January 2022, he was an assistant professor at Rafik Hariri University (RHU) in Beirut, Lebanon since September 2018. Prior of joining RHU, he was a Research Fellow at Temasek Laboratories and Robotics Innovations Laboratory at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). He joined SUTD since November 2014 and he worked on the research project STARS (Systems Technology for Autonomous Reconnaissance and Surveillance). He obtained his PhD in 2012 from University Paris-Sud, France, where he designed and realized piezoelectric mobiles for cooperative use (piezoelectric mini-robots). Before joining SUTD, he awarded a postdoctoral research fellowship in 2012 from Université de Sherbrooke (Canada) to work on the validation of a tire sensor used for the minimization of the vibration transmission through a car suspension.
